i would recommend to try and mix black and cyan toghether (like to have a pattern where 1 pixel is cyan and 1 is black, and to basically have a checkerboard in a way..? alternatively you could just add ocasionally cyan pixels idk how to explain lol.) mostly because corru uses an VERY limited pattern usually, only cyan, magenta, and yellow.

to get darker colors they are usually mixed toghether, and from afar it looks like a darker cyan

it also looks cooler when zoomed in lol

edit: i just noticed that this was already done with the quo body lol

interesting attempt, but i would strongly recommend to try keeping an consistent pixel size/grid.

try lowering your canvas size and then draw over it, otherwise you may get whats commonly known as "mixels".

avoiding mixels is also important to avoid "so retro" comments which are VERY annoying from my experience xwx

quick question but how did you do the shading? id love to learn how to slightly better shading with my stuff, all i can do is add alpha pixels and hope that it looks good LOL

Shading is pretty easy

You just need to select any color you want but needs to be a little darker but, just paint the borders of the pixels of where it can be filled like an inside of an circle for exemple (don't fill the dark colors in it), so you get an little extra bright based color (a little bit of the dark color) and you do the same steps like the dark one, in the dark border where filled instead (don't fill, again!), and finally fill an more bright color based in your color and tada! ur done
